THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION FOR EAGLE PEAK

INTERESTED IN JOINING?
The purpose of the Community Foundation for Eagle Peak (CFEP) is to provide funding to support Eagle Peak Montessori School through various fundraising activities, grants, and donations. CFEP funds belong to Eagle Peak, and stand apart from state monies allocated for our charter school. CFEP funds are essential for fully funding our Montessori program. The Community Foundation for Eagle Peak is a California non-profit public benefit corporation exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

As a charter school within the Mount Diablo School District, we receive a block grant to operate our school. This grant covers the majority of Eagle Peak’s expenses, but it’s not enough to provide our students with an optimal Montessori program. Our school, like many charter schools, receives significantly less funding than do traditional public schools and must pay for start-up, facilities, and other costs that traditional public schools do not have to pay. Because of this shortfall, we cannot fulfill our instructional mission without your help.

Annual Giving Campaign

The Annual Giving Campaign is the Community Foundation for Eagle Peak’s request for parental donations to fully fund your child’s instructional program. Our goal is participation from as many families as possible with a requested per child donation of $1000. While we recognize that not everyone’s financial situation allows a donation of this size, your contribution to CFEP makes a difference! We are asking all families to donate what they can. All CFEP family donations are confidential, as well as, a decision not to donate. Since CFEP is a charity, all donations are Tax Deductible.

Donations by check for the Annual Giving Campaign should be made out to CFEP and dropped off at the main office or mailed to:

Community Foundation for Eagle Peak 800 Hutchinson Rd. Walnut Creek, CA 94598

The quality and success of the Eagle Peak Montessori School program is due in large part to our community’s efforts and generosity.
