Special Programs

We have some wonderful programs for the children that take place outside of their regular classroom.

Art– Our current art program is offered for the students on a weekly basis. The class covers a variety of techniques and mediums. Often student projects are displayed in the main office.

 

Environmental Education–Montessori education places a great emphases on children understand the Cosmic Task of humans. That task entails taking care of each other and the planet. Through our Environmental Education class, the students work in the garden weekly and receive lessons on stewardship of the natural resources.

 

Music-The elementary students enjoy music class which is centered around the Orff program. They learn a variety of instruments as well as dance through this program.

 

PHYSICAL Education-All of the student at Eagle Peak participate in the physical education classes which are carefully designed to teach skills and healthy practices in a non-competitive environment.
