Candidates for the Elementary position must be comfortable working with a co-teacher and truly see themselves as part of the team. Candidates must be open to both Upper and Lower Elementary learning environments. Communication skills are an important part of the work at our school.

For full time classroom faculty, Eagle Peak helps support teachers who hold a Montessori credential but are willing to obtain a state teaching credential. There is also a provision for professional development each year.

Elementary Teaching/Guide Positions

We are seeking teachers for the 2024-2025 academic year. We have a co-teaching model in all classroom with two teachers. Eagle Peak is a public charter school that is entering its 25th year. Candidates would preferably hold an AMS or AMI Montessori credential and a California State Teaching Credential. However, we accept candidates with either the Montessori OR State credential with the understanding that the other credential would be obtained. As a public school we offer benefits for full time employees and EPMS pays a majority portion towards these benefits. Substitute Positions

We are seeking out qualified candidates to serve as substitute teachers on campus. Please see the CTC website to read more about the requirements of obtaining a sub-credential. Lunch/Recess Supervisors

Practice grace and courtesy during lunch supervision of students.

Provide activities and supervision for students in aftercare setting.

Monitor safety and protocols of students at recess.

Hours- 2.5- hours/day.
